1. Who we are

Time Blocks AI is operated from South Africa. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. What we store

Time Blocks AI stores the planning information you enter, including sleep preferences, commitments, obligations, goals, schedules, and breakdowns. Your signed-in identity is used to keep your plan separate from other users. We also collect basic account information, such as your email address, needed to operate your account.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Your information is used only to save, calculate, and display your personal planning system. It is not sold or used to create advertising profiles.

We process your personal information on the following lawful bases under POPIA:

• Consent — you agree to this policy when you create an account.
• Performance of a contract — processing necessary to provide the service you've signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — improving and securing the product.

4. How long we keep it

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

5. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted network connections, access controls, and hosting-provider security. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

6. Who else sees it

We don't sell your personal information or use it to build advertising profiles. We share limited data with hosting and infrastructure providers that help us operate the product. When AI features are connected, the AI processing providers powering those features may also process the information needed to provide them.

These providers process data only to deliver their services and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

7. Cross-border transfers

Some of our service providers may process your information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard consistent with POPIA, including using providers with appropriate safeguards or contractual protections in place.

8. AI and payment providers

Live AI coaching and paid upgrades are not connected in this release. When these providers are added, this notice will be updated before any personal information is sent to them.

9. Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking analytics. We may use essential browser storage to keep an unsaved guest plan and basic interface preferences on your device.

10. Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to processing of your information.
• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your information has been mishandled.

You can export your weekly schedule at any time. Full account deletion and complete data export will be added before public commercial launch. Until then, contact timeauditai@gmail.com to request either manually.

11. Children's privacy

Time Blocks AI is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Data breach notification

If a breach involving your personal information occurs that's likely to result in risk to you, we'll notify the Information Regulator and affected users as required by POPIA.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
